Gourmet Takeaway Menu 

We use only the best quality meat, fresh vegetables, and of course the Mistresses own Spice Blends and recipes, to cook some of the best Indian, Moroccan, MIddle Eastern, and North African curries and tagines you will taste.

To make dinner easier, our heat and eat meals are packed in clever, cardboard packaging that can go straight from the fridge or freezer, into the MIcrowave or oven. To keep your meals fresh, we use heat sealed packaging.

There are a range of Vegetarian, Gluten Free, and Dairy Free meals available. To make choosing even easier, options are clearly markedon the labels, and all labels include a short description of the meal, serving weight, a list of ingredients, nutritional information, best before dates, and spice or 'heat' level. 

What we don't put in our meals is just as important as what we do. We don't use MSG, or Ghee (clarified butter), we use Olive Oil instead.

Whatever your taste, Indian or Moroccan, whether you like Super Hot, or Kid Friendly, whether you fancy a crowd favourite like Butter Chicken, or whether you'd like to try something more exotic from the Mauritius or Tunisia - there's bound to be something quick, and healthy to please. Our meals are mostly packaged in 450g serves, and with rice, or breads will usually serve 2 - making them great value too!

At Mistress of Spice we take food safety seriously, and we are very proud of our food safety processes, and record: Every year since opening our doors in 2005, our kitchen has been awarded a 4 STAR, or 'excellent' level of food safety.

We've a selection of home baked sweet treats including: Double Choc Chip Cookies, Melting Moments, Macadamia Anzacs, Choc Caramel Brownie, Chocolate Truffles, Flourless White Choc Truffle Balls, Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes, and Carrot Cake. Ask about our gluten free, and dairy free treats.

Beef Bourguigon - Classic French Beef & Red Wine Casserole. Rich, tender beef simmered for hours in wine, stock, baby onions, carrot, mushrooms, bacon and Mistress Herbs De Provence. It's heart walming. (Mild. Gluten Free) 

Mango Chicken Curry - Sweet & savoury - if you like Mangoes, you'll love this. (Mild Plus. Gluten Free). 

Beef and Prune Tagine - Long, slow cooking with prunes gives this dish a sweet, fruit flavour. In this version, the traditional lamb is replaced with beef. Serve with a sprinkling of roasted almonds. 

Beef Biryani - A complete meal. Balsamic rice in slow cooked Sri Lankan spiced beef, Peas, toasted pistachios, sweet craisins and coriander to finish it off. (Mild). $ 12.00

Moroccan Chickpea Salad - Nutty chickpeas, sweet red onion & preserved lemon & fresh Continental parsley dressed in lemon juice & Chermoula spice. 

Potato & Pumpkin with Panch Phora - A thick, hearty vegetable stew spiced with Bengali Five Spice (Mild). 

Chickpea and Spinach Curry - a nutty, wholesome curry from Sri Lanka, May you live to be a hundred. (Medium) 

Vegetable Balti - A Balti Masala flavoured eggplant, mushroom & sweet potato curry with cannelloni beans & toasted almonds. (Contains NUTS)

Madras Mango Chutney - Good on cold meat, cheese & curry wraps. Sweet & sour stewed mangoes & craisins flavoured with Mistress of Spice Madras Curry powder, (Medium) 

Cucumber Yoghurt with Sumac - Enjoy this cool-cucumber dip with crackers or administer tactically to quench spice fires. 

Chermoula - This Moroccan herb and spice paste can be used as a dip, or sauce but is traditionally used as marinade. Rub it on fish, meat - or even tofu. (Hot). 

North African Harissa - This chilli paste is HOT!! Used in North Africa like tomato sauce is here. Versatile too, Harissa can also be used as a marinade. (Hot. Not Kid Friendly).
